The Sonshine Soup Kitchen in Derry would like to thank the wonderful pizzerias who made our 3rd Annual PIZZA WARS benefit such a smashing success last night! It was our biggest and best event ever, and all proceeds will fund the work of the Sonshine Soup Kitchen to feed the hungry and clothe the naked and barefoot in our communities.
A HUGE shout-out to 501 Pizza and Kelsen Brewing of Londonderry, Alley Cat Pizza of Manchester, Domino’s Pizza and Hare of the Dawg in Derry, and Nana’s Kitchen of Auburn. Each of these fine establishments donated their time, talent and pizza to make our annual fundraiser a total blast.
Nana’s Kitchen, a first-time competitor, won the crowd’s vote for Best Cheese Pizza as well as Best Specialty Pizza, a sweet-and-spicy Hot Honey creation that was out of this world.
